Getting started with 3D AI Studio

In this guide, you will learn how to quickly generate textures and materials for your 3D models using 3D AI Studio. By the end, you’ll be able to create high-quality textures simply by typing in descriptions.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to 3D AI Studio.
2. Click on the “Sign Up” button in the top right corner.
3. Enter your email address and create a password, or sign up using your Google account.
4. Confirm your email address through the link sent to your inbox.
5. Log in to your new account.

Step 2: Your first texture

1. Once logged in, you’ll be taken to the main dashboard.
2. Click on the “Create Texture” button in the centre of the page.
3. In the input box, type a detailed description of the texture you want to create (e.g., “rusty metal with peeling paint”).
4. Click the “Generate” button below the input box.
5. Wait for the AI to process your request. Your generated texture will appear in the gallery section.
6. Click on the texture thumbnail to view it in detail.
7. Use the “Download” button to save the texture to your device.

Step 3: Get better results

• Experiment with different descriptions to refine your textures. Be specific about colours, materials, and patterns (e.g., “smooth blue ceramic with a glossy finish”).
• Use the “Preview” feature to see how your texture looks on a 3D model before downloading.
• Save your favourite textures to your profile by clicking the “Save” button, so you can easily access them later.

Pro tip

When typing your descriptions, include adjectives and specific details to help the AI understand what you want. For instance, instead of just “wood,” try “weathered oak with deep grooves.”

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid using vague descriptions like “nice texture.” The more specific you are, the better the AI will perform in generating a texture that meets your needs.
