Getting started with AB Tasty
In this guide, you'll learn how to set up your AB Tasty account and run your first A/B test. By the end, you'll be able to create and manage experiments to optimise your web and app experiences.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to AB Tasty's website.
- Click on the “Get Started” button located at the top right of the homepage.
- Fill in the required details to create your account, including your name, email, and password.
- Once registered, check your email for a confirmation link to activate your account.
- Log in to your new AB Tasty account.
Step 2: Your first A/B test
- From the dashboard, click on the “Experiments” tab in the left-hand menu.
- Select “Create Experiment” to start a new test.
- Choose “A/B Test” for the type of experiment.
- Enter a name for your experiment and select the URL of the webpage you want to test.
- Define your variations by clicking “Add Variation” and use the visual editor to make changes to the page (e.g., change text, images, or buttons).
- Set your targeting options to specify which users will see your test.
- Click “Save and Launch” to start your experiment.
Step 3: Get better results
- Monitor your experiment's performance in real-time by going to the “Dashboard” and selecting your test.
- Use the “Metrics” section to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates or click-through rates.
- Adjust your test settings, if necessary, by clicking on the “Settings” icon next to your experiment.
- After the test period, analyse the results and decide which variation performs best.
