Getting started with Ada

In this guide, you'll set up your Ada account and create your first AI-driven customer service agent. You'll be ready to automate customer interactions efficiently.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Visit ada.cx.
  2. Click on the "Get Started" button on the top right corner of the homepage.
  3. Fill out the sign-up form with your details and company information.
  4. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email. Click the link to verify your account.
  5. Log in to your new account and follow the onboarding prompts to set up your profile and integrate with your existing systems.

Step 2: Your first chatbot

  1. After logging in, click on "Build" in the left-hand menu.
  2. Select "Create New Bot" and choose a template that fits your needs (e.g., FAQ, Order Status).
  3. Name your bot and click "Create".
  4. In the bot builder, start by adding intents. Click "Add Intent", then input common customer questions (e.g., "What are your business hours?").
  5. For each intent, provide appropriate responses. You can use the "Response" section to write text or add dynamic data.
  6. Once you've added a few intents, click "Preview" to test how your bot responds to user queries.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Use the "Analytics" section to monitor your bot's performance. Check which intents are most engaged and refine responses accordingly.
  2. Incorporate user feedback by enabling the "Feedback" option in the settings. This will allow customers to rate responses, helping you improve over time.
  3. Regularly update your bot with new intents based on frequently asked questions and trends you observe from customer interactions.

Pro tip

Set up automated workflows to escalate complex queries to human agents. You can do this by creating a specific intent for "Talk to a human" and linking it to your support team's contact information.

Common mistake to avoid

Many users forget to test their bots thoroughly before going live. Always use the "Preview" feature extensively to ensure that the bot handles various scenarios effectively.
