Getting started with Adalo
In this guide, you'll learn how to create your first mobile app using Adalo's no-code platform. By the end, you’ll be able to design a basic app and publish it on app stores.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to Adalo's website.
- Click on the "Get Started Free" button in the top right corner.
- Enter your email address and create a password, then click "Sign Up".
- Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox.
- Once verified, log in to your new Adalo account.
Step 2: Your first app
- After logging in, click on the "Create New App" button.
- Choose either "Native Mobile App" for iOS and Android or "Web App" depending on your needs.
- Select a template or start from scratch. If you choose a template, click on it and then click "Use Template".
- Use the drag-and-drop interface to add components like buttons, text, and images. Click on a component to modify its properties in the right sidebar.
- To link screens, select a button and go to the "Actions" section in the sidebar. Click "Add Action", then choose "Link" and select the screen you want to navigate to.
- When you’re ready, click the "Preview" button at the top right to test your app.
Step 3: Get better results
- Explore the “Database” tab to create collections for storing data, like user profiles or app content. Click "Add Collection" to set this up.
- Use "Custom Actions" to connect to external APIs if you need advanced functionality. Find this option in the "Actions" menu.
- Regularly preview your app to ensure everything works as intended. Use the "Share" button to send a link to others for feedback.
