Getting started with Anomalo
After reading this guide, you'll be able to set up Anomalo for your datasets and start monitoring data quality effectively. You’ll learn how to identify anomalies and ensure your insights are based on reliable data.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to Anomalo's website.
- Click on the "Get Started" button located at the top right corner.
- Fill in your details to create an account. You may need to verify your email.
- Once you’re logged in, follow the on-screen prompts to connect your data sources. Anomalo supports various data sources like databases and data warehouses.
Step 2: Your first anomaly detection
- After setting up your data sources, navigate to the "Dashboards" tab from the left-hand menu.
- Click on "Create New Dashboard".
- Select the dataset you want to monitor from the list.
- Anomalo will automatically analyse your data and create visualisation charts.
- Review the generated charts and look for any flagged anomalies in the "Anomalies" section. Click on each anomaly for detailed insights.
Step 3: Get better results
- Regularly check the "Insights" tab to understand the trends and patterns in your data.
- Set up alerts by clicking on the "Alerts" menu. You can choose to receive notifications via email when anomalies are detected.
- Explore the "Custom Views" feature to tailor your dashboards according to specific metrics or KPIs you want to monitor closely.
