How to Use BeFunky

Getting started with BeFunky

In this guide, you will learn how to create stunning visuals using BeFunky’s photo editor, collage maker, and graphic designer. By the end, you'll be able to edit photos, make collages, and apply artistic effects in just a few steps.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to BeFunky’s website.
2. Click on the “Get Started” button located in the centre of the homepage.
3. Choose to sign up with your email, or use your Google or Facebook account for quicker access.
4. After registering, you’ll be taken to the dashboard where you can choose between Photo Editor, Collage Maker, and Graphic Designer.

Step 2: Your first photo edit

1. From the dashboard, click on “Photo Editor.”
2. Click the “Open” button in the top left corner and upload an image from your computer or choose an image from BeFunky’s stock library.
3. Once your photo is uploaded, use the left sidebar to explore tools. For example, click on “Edit” to adjust brightness and contrast or “Effects” to apply filters.
4. To use the AI-powered background removal, click on “Background Eraser” under the “Edit” tab and follow the prompts to remove the background automatically.
5. After editing, click “Save” in the top right corner to download your image or share it directly to social media.

Step 3: Get better results

• Experiment with the “Effects” tab to apply artistic styles to your images. You can adjust the intensity of each effect using the slider.
• Use the “Text” tool to add captions or titles. Click on “Text” in the left sidebar, then choose a style and type your text.
• Save your work frequently by clicking “Save” in the top right corner, especially if you are trying multiple effects.

Pro tip

Use the “Undo” button (a circular arrow icon) in the top left corner to quickly reverse any changes you don’t like, saving you time on edits.

Common mistake to avoid

A common mistake is forgetting to save your progress. BeFunky does not auto-save your work, so regularly click the “Save” button to ensure you don’t lose any edits.
