In this guide, you'll learn how to set up Bito for AI-driven code reviews directly in your IDE. By the end, you'll know how to initiate your first code review and enhance your development workflow efficiently.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Visit the Bito website.
- Click on the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner.
- Enter your email address and create a password, or sign up using your GitHub account.
- After signing up, you'll receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to verify your account.
- Once verified, log in to your Bito account.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to connect Bito with your preferred IDE (e.g., VS Code or GitHub).
Step 2: Your first code review
- Open your project in the connected IDE.
- Highlight the code you want to review.
- Look for the Bito icon (usually on the sidebar or toolbar) and click on it.
- Select "Start Review" from the Bito menu.
- Wait for Bito to analyse your code; this may take a few seconds.
- Review the insights and suggestions provided by Bito in the review panel that appears.
- Implement any recommended changes directly in your code.
