After reading this guide, you'll be able to create engaging social media posts and repurpose content for various platforms using Buffer's AI Assistant.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to Buffer AI Assistant.
- Click on the "Get started for free" button.
- Create an account by entering your email and setting a password, or sign up using a Google account.
- Once logged in, you’ll see the dashboard. Link your social media accounts by clicking on the "Connect Accounts" button and following the prompts.
Step 2: Your first post
- On the dashboard, locate the "Create Post" button. Click it.
- In the text box that appears, enter a topic or idea for your post.
- Select the platform you want to create content for (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the "Generate" button. The AI will provide you with a few suggested posts.
- Review the suggestions, and if you like one, click "Edit" to make any adjustments.
- Once satisfied, click "Schedule" to select a time for posting or "Post Now" to publish immediately.
Step 3: Get better results
- Use specific keywords or phrases to guide the AI in generating posts that align with your brand voice.
- Experiment with different tones by selecting options like "Professional," "Casual," or "Humorous" from the tone dropdown.
- To repurpose content, use the "Repurpose" feature, where you can input an existing post and specify the new platform to adapt it for.
