Getting started with Capsule CRM

In this guide, you'll learn how to set up Capsule CRM and use its AI content assistant for effective email outreach. By the end, you'll be able to manage your contacts and track your sales pipeline efficiently.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to Capsule CRM's website.
  2. Click on the "Get Started Free" button located in the top right corner.
  3. Fill in the required information, including your name, email address, and password, then click "Create Account".
  4. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox.
  5. Log in to your new account and follow the onboarding prompts to set up your business profile and import contacts if necessary.

Step 2: Your first outreach

  1. From your dashboard, click on "Contacts" in the left-hand menu.
  2. Select "Add Contact" and fill in the details for a new contact (name, email, company, etc.), then click "Save".
  3. To initiate an email, click on the contact's name to open their profile.
  4. Click the "Email" button located in the top right corner of the contact profile.
  5. Use the AI content assistant by clicking on the "Generate Email" option. Enter your desired topic or message, and click "Generate".
  6. Review the suggested email, make any necessary edits, and then click "Send".

Step 3: Get better results

  1. To improve your outreach, use tags to organise your contacts. Click "Tags" in the contact profile to add relevant tags (e.g., "Lead", "Follow-Up").
  2. Set reminders for follow-ups by clicking "Add Reminder" in the contact profile; this ensures you stay on top of your communications.
  3. Use the "Dashboard" feature to track your sales pipeline effectively. Click on "Sales Pipeline" to view opportunities and their statuses.

Pro tip

Create templates for common emails by saving them as drafts. This will save you time when reaching out to multiple contacts with similar messages.

Common mistake to avoid

Many users forget to set reminders for follow-ups, which can lead to missed opportunities. Always set a reminder after your initial outreach to ensure you follow up in a timely manner.
