Getting started with ClipDrop

In this guide, you'll learn how to quickly set up ClipDrop and perform basic image editing tasks such as background removal and image upscaling. By the end, you’ll be ready to enhance your images efficiently.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to ClipDrop's website.
  2. Click on the Get Started button.
  3. Choose the Sign Up option. You can register using your email or sign in with Google.
  4. Once signed in, explore the dashboard. You’ll see options for various tools like Background Removal, Relight, and Upscale.

Step 2: Your first background removal

  1. On the dashboard, select Background Removal.
  2. Click on the Upload Image button to upload the image you want to edit. You can also drag and drop your image directly onto the page.
  3. The tool will automatically process the image. Once done, you’ll see the edited image with the background removed.
  4. Click the Download button to save the edited image to your device.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. For best results, use high-contrast images where the subject is clearly distinguishable from the background.
  2. Experiment with the Relight tool to adjust lighting on your subject. Upload your image and use the sliders to modify brightness and shadows.
  3. Use the Upscale feature to enhance the resolution of your images. Upload your image and select the desired output size before downloading.
