Getting started with Colourlab AI
In this guide, you will learn how to quickly set up Colourlab AI and use it to enhance your video projects with automated colour grading. By the end, you'll be able to apply presets that improve your film's visual quality in just a few clicks.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to Colourlab AI's website.
- Click on the "Get Started" button located at the top right corner of the homepage.
- Fill in your details to create an account. You may need to verify your email.
- Once logged in, you can choose a subscription plan that suits your needs. Note that Colourlab AI does not offer a free tier, so be prepared to select a paid plan.
Step 2: Your first project
- After logging in, click on the "New Project" button on your dashboard.
- Upload your video by clicking the "Upload" button and selecting the file from your device.
- Once uploaded, select your video from the project list and click on it to open the editing interface.
- On the right side, you'll see a list of Hollywood-inspired presets. Browse through the options and click on one to apply it to your video.
- Use the "Shot Matching" feature to ensure consistency across different clips. Select a reference shot and click "Match" to apply the same grading to other shots.
Step 3: Get better results
- Experiment with different presets to find the one that best suits your project. You can preview changes in real-time.
- Adjust the intensity of the applied preset using the slider under the "Adjustments" section.
- Use the "Custom Adjustments" feature for fine-tuning. Here, you can tweak brightness, contrast, saturation, and more to achieve the desired look.
- Save your settings as a custom preset for future projects by clicking on "Save Preset" in the Adjustments section.
