Getting started with DevRev
In this guide, you will learn how to set up DevRev, create your first support ticket, and connect it to your product development team. You’ll be ready to improve customer feedback processes efficiently.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to DevRev’s website.
- Click on the “Get Started Free” button on the homepage.
- Fill in your details to create an account, or sign up using Google or Microsoft.
- Once signed in, choose the "PlugApp" free tier to start without any charges.
- Complete the onboarding process by following the prompts, which may include setting your company name and inviting team members.
Step 2: Your first support ticket
- From the dashboard, click on the “Support” tab in the left sidebar.
- Select “Create Ticket” at the top right corner.
- Fill in the ticket details:
- Click “Submit” to create the ticket.
- Once submitted, you can assign the ticket to a developer by clicking on the ticket and selecting a team member from the “Assign To” dropdown.
Step 3: Get better results
- Use tags to categorise tickets effectively. When creating a ticket, add relevant tags in the “Tags” field to help your team filter and prioritise issues.
- Set up automated notifications in the “Settings” under “Notifications” to keep your team updated on ticket status changes.
- Regularly review the “Analytics” tab to track ticket resolution times and identify common issues.
