Getting started with Fliki

With Fliki, you can transform text into engaging videos featuring realistic AI voiceovers, stock footage, and subtitles in over 75 languages. This guide will help you create your first video in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to Fliki.ai.
2. Click on the “Sign Up” button in the top-right corner.
3. You can register using your email or sign up via Google or Facebook. Choose your preferred method and complete the registration process.
4. Once logged in, you'll be taken to your dashboard. Here, you can start a new project by clicking on the “Create Video” button.

Step 2: Your first video

1. In the editor, you’ll see a text box labelled “Enter your text here.” Paste or type your script into this box.
2. Below the text box, select your desired voice from the “Voice” dropdown menu. You can listen to samples by clicking the play button next to each option.
3. Choose a language from the “Language” dropdown if you want a voiceover in a specific language.
4. Click on the “Generate Video” button. Fliki will process your text and generate a video.
5. Once the video is ready, you can preview it. If you’re satisfied, click the “Download” button to save the video to your device. Note that videos on the free plan will have a watermark.

Step 3: Get better results

• To enhance your video, consider adding stock footage. Click on the “Media” tab on the left sidebar to browse and select relevant clips to accompany your text.
• Use the “Background Music” feature to add audio that complements your video. You can find this option in the editor sidebar.
• Experiment with the timing of your subtitles by adjusting the “Timing” settings to ensure they sync well with the voiceover.

Pro tip

To save time, create a template for your videos. After generating your first video, click on “Save as Template” to reuse the format for future projects. You can easily edit the text and voice settings without starting from scratch.

Common mistake to avoid

Many beginners forget to adjust the voice settings. Always listen to a few voice samples and select one that matches the tone of your message before generating the video. This small step can significantly improve the overall quality of your video.
