A practical guide to get you up and running with getimg.ai. Written by Delv Editorial, Delv Team.

Getting started with getimg.ai

In this guide, you'll learn how to create stunning images from text prompts using getimg.ai, as well as how to modify existing images with inpainting. You'll be ready to start generating and customising images in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to getimg.ai.
  2. Click on the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner.
  3. Enter your email address and create a password, or sign up using Google for quicker access.
  4. Confirm your email if prompted, and log in to your new account.

Step 2: Your first image generation

  1. Once logged in, click on the "Create" button on the dashboard.
  2. In the text box, enter a descriptive prompt for the image you want to create (e.g., "a sunset over a mountain range").
  3. Choose your preferred style from the options provided or leave it as default.
  4. Click on the "Generate" button to create your image.
  5. Wait a few moments while the image is processed. Once complete, you can view and download your image by clicking the "Download" button below it.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. To refine your results, try adding more specific details in your text prompt (e.g., "a vibrant sunset over snow-capped mountains with a lake in the foreground").
  2. Use the "Inpaint" feature by uploading an image you want to modify. Click on "Edit" and select the area to change, then provide a new prompt for that section.
  3. Experiment with different styles and settings to see how they affect the output. You can adjust the resolution and aspect ratio before generating.

Pro tip

Use the “Favourites” feature to save your favourite prompts and images. This allows you to quickly access and reuse them for future projects, saving you time on re-typing.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid using overly vague prompts like "a nice picture". Instead, be descriptive and specific to ensure the AI understands what you want, leading to better image generation results.
