Step 2: Your first contract

  1. On the main dashboard, click on “Create New Contract”.
  2. Choose the type of contract you need from the list of templates provided.
  3. Fill in the party roles, such as “Client” and “Service Provider”, in the designated fields.
  4. Enter the key terms, including duration, payment details, and specific clauses you require.
  5. Click “Generate Contract” to create your contract draft.
  6. Review the generated draft and make any necessary adjustments, then click “Save” or “Download”.

Step 3: Get better results

  • Use specific keywords for clauses you want to include, such as “confidentiality” or “termination”, in the input fields to refine the generated contract.
  • Check the “Customise” option to add additional clauses or modify existing ones based on your needs.
  • Regularly save your templates and drafts for future use by clicking on the “Save Template” button.

Pro tip

Use the “Template Library” feature to quickly access and modify existing contracts that are similar to what you need, saving time on drafting from scratch.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid skipping the jurisdiction selection step; failing to choose the correct jurisdiction can lead to non-compliant contracts. Always double-check that this setting matches your needs before generating a draft.
