Getting started with Guidde

With Guidde, you’ll be able to turn your screen recordings into polished video guides complete with voiceovers and annotations in just a few clicks. This guide will help you set up your account and create your first video guide quickly.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Visit guidde.com.
2. Click on the "Get Started" button on the homepage.
3. Choose the option to sign up using your email or a social media account (Google or Microsoft).
4. Fill in the required details and confirm your email address if prompted.
5. Once logged in, you will be taken to the dashboard, where you can start creating your guides.

Step 2: Your first video guide

1. On the dashboard, click on the "New Guide" button.
2. Select "Record Screen" from the options available.
3. Choose the screen or window you want to record and click "Start Recording".
4. Perform the actions you want to demonstrate on your screen.
5. Once done, click on the "Stop Recording" button.
6. Guidde will automatically generate a video guide. Review the video and use the editing tools to add text annotations or highlights as needed.
7. To add a voiceover, click on the "Add Voiceover" button and follow the prompts to record your narration.
8. Finally, click "Publish" to save your video guide.

Step 3: Get better results

• Experiment with the editing tools available after recording. Use the "Text" option to add annotations at specific points in your video.
• Adjust the timing of your voiceover by dragging the audio track on the timeline.
• Use the "Highlight" tool to draw attention to specific areas of the screen during playback.
