Getting started with HubSpot
In this guide, you will learn how to set up HubSpot, create your first marketing campaign, and optimise your results using its features. You'll be able to manage customer relationships effectively and harness AI tools to enhance your marketing efforts.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to HubSpot's website.
- Click on the "Get started free" button in the top right corner.
- Fill in your email address and click "Start free trial".
- Follow the prompts to create your account by providing your name, company name, and password.
- Once logged in, you’ll be directed to the HubSpot dashboard. Take a moment to explore the layout.
Step 2: Your first marketing campaign
- From the dashboard, navigate to "Marketing" in the main menu.
- Click on "Email" from the dropdown.
- Click the "Create email" button.
- Choose "Regular" for a standard email campaign.
- Select a template from the options provided or start from scratch.
- Fill in the subject line, and personalisation tokens if desired.
- Add your content in the email editor. You can use the AI content assistant by clicking on the "AI" icon in the editor to generate ideas or text.
- Once satisfied, click "Send" or "Schedule" to launch your campaign.
Step 3: Get better results
- Use the "Reports" section under "Marketing" to track your email performance.
- Experiment with A/B testing by clicking on the "A/B Test" option when creating an email.
- Set up lead scoring by going to "Contacts", then "Lead Scoring", and defining criteria based on engagement and demographics.
- Use workflow automation by navigating to "Automation" > "Workflows" and creating workflows for lead nurturing.
