Getting started with HypeAuditor

In this guide, you'll learn how to sign up for HypeAuditor and start analysing influencers to ensure you invest wisely in your marketing campaigns. By the end, you'll be able to detect fake followers and engagement fraud effectively.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to HypeAuditor's website.
  2. Click on the “Get Started Free” button located at the top right corner.
  3. Fill in your email address and create a password, or sign up using your Google or Facebook account.
  4. Once registered, check your email for a verification link and click it to activate your account.

Step 2: Your first influencer analysis

  1. After logging in, navigate to the “Search” tab on the left sidebar.
  2. Enter the name or handle of the influencer you want to analyse in the search bar and press “Enter.”
  3. Click on the influencer’s profile from the search results.
  4. Review the key metrics displayed, including Audience Quality, Engagement Rate, and Fraud Score.
  5. For detailed insights, scroll down to view metrics like audience demographics and engagement patterns.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Use filters to refine your search. Click on “Filters” next to the search bar to limit results by platform (e.g., Instagram or TikTok), follower count, or engagement rate.
  2. Set up alerts for specific influencers. Click on the bell icon on their profile page to receive notifications about changes in their metrics.
  3. Create reports by clicking the “Export” button to download your findings as a PDF or CSV for easy sharing.

Pro tip

Take advantage of the “Competitors” feature. This allows you to compare multiple influencers side-by-side, saving you time when deciding who to collaborate with.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid relying solely on the follower count. Many users mistakenly think a high follower count equates to quality. Always check the Engagement Rate and Fraud Score to ensure you’re selecting genuine influencers.
