Getting started with InVideo

After reading this guide, you'll be able to create your first video using InVideo's AI tools, turning simple text prompts into professional-looking videos quickly and easily.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to invideo.io.
  2. Click on the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner.
  3. Choose to sign up using your email or a social media account.
  4. Complete the registration process by verifying your email.
  5. Once logged in, you can choose the Free plan, which includes a watermark on your videos.

Step 2: Your first video

  1. After logging in, click on the "Create" button on the dashboard.
  2. Select "Text to Video" from the options provided.
  3. Enter your text prompt in the input field and click "Start".
  4. Browse through the suggested templates and choose one that fits your theme by clicking on it.
  5. Customise the video by adding clips, images, or text overlays as necessary using the left sidebar.
  6. To add voiceover, click on the "Voiceover" tab, choose a voice, and click "Record" or "Text to Speech".
  7. Once satisfied with your edits, click the "Export" button in the top right corner to render your video.

Step 3: Get better results

  • Explore the "Media" tab for stock footage and images to enhance your video.
  • Use the "Text" features to add captions or subtitles, making your video more engaging and accessible.
  • Adjust the timing of scenes by dragging the timeline sliders for a smoother flow.
  • Experiment with different templates and styles to see what resonates with your audience.

Pro tip

Use the "Save as Template" option after creating a video you like. This allows you to quickly create similar videos in the future without starting from scratch.

Don't forget to check the video preview before exporting. Many beginners skip this step and miss small errors that could affect the video's overall quality.
