Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to klue.com.
2. Click on the "Get Started" button located at the top right corner of the homepage.
3. Fill in your details in the sign-up form and click "Create Account".
4. After confirming your email, log in to your account.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up your profile, including your company information and preferences.

Step 2: Your first competitive insight

1. Once logged in, navigate to the "Insights" tab on the left sidebar.
2. Click on "Add Insight" to start creating a new competitive insight.
3. Fill in the required fields:

- Competitor Name: Enter the name of the competitor you want to analyse. - Insight Type: Choose from options like Product Update, Pricing Change, or Market Activity. - Description: Provide a brief overview of the insight.

1. Click "Save" to store your insight.
2. You can now view this insight under the "Insights" tab and share it with your team.

Step 3: Get better results

1. Use the "Compete Agent" feature by clicking on the "Compete Agent" tab on the left sidebar.
2. Set up alerts for specific competitors by clicking "Create Alert". Choose the competitor and the type of updates you want to receive.
3. Tailor your dashboard by selecting relevant filters for insights, helping you focus on the most pertinent information.
4. Regularly review and update insights to keep your data current and relevant.

Pro tip

Use the "Tags" feature when adding insights. This allows you to categorise and filter insights easily later, saving you time when searching for specific information.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid skipping the profile setup step. Completing your profile ensures that the Compete Agent provides tailored insights relevant to your specific industry and competitors, enhancing the effectiveness of the platform.
