Getting started with Krea AI

In this guide, you'll learn how to quickly create stunning images using Krea AI's suite of tools. By the end, you'll be able to generate images in real-time and explore various AI models for your creative needs.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to Krea AI's website.
2. Click on the “Sign Up” button in the top right corner.
3. Choose the free plan option to get started without any cost.
4. Fill in your email address and create a password, then click “Create Account”.
5. Confirm your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox.

Step 2: Your first image generation

1. After logging in, you’ll be directed to the main dashboard.
2. Click on the “Create” button located in the centre of the screen.
3. In the prompt box, type a description of the image you want to generate (e.g., "a sunset over a mountain range").
4. Select one of the 64+ models from the dropdown menu on the left. For beginners, Krea 1 is a good starting point.
5. Click the “Generate” button. Your image will appear in less than 50 milliseconds.
6. To save your image, click on the “Download” button below the generated image.

Step 3: Get better results

1. Experiment with different prompts to see how they affect the output. Be specific to get the best results (e.g., specify colours, styles, or elements).
2. Use the “Upscale” option to enhance the resolution of your generated images. Click on the image, then select “Upscale” and choose your desired resolution (up to 22K).
3. Explore the various models available to find the one that suits your style best. You can switch models easily from the dropdown menu during image creation.

Pro tip

Take advantage of the “favourites” feature. After generating an image you like, click on the star icon to save it in your favourites for quick access later.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid vague prompts such as "draw a picture." Instead, incorporate specific details about what you want to see. This will help the AI generate more accurate and appealing images.
