Getting started with Kukarella

In this guide, you'll learn how to quickly set up Kukarella and create your first text-to-speech audio using its extensive library of over 750 AI voices. By the end, you'll be ready to produce voiceovers for your projects.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to Kukarella's website.
2. Click on the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner.
3. Fill in your email and create a password, then click "Create Account."
4. Check your email for a verification link and click it to activate your account.
5. Once logged in, you’ll be directed to the dashboard where you can start exploring voices.

Step 2: Your first voiceover

1. From the dashboard, click on the "Text to Speech" option in the menu.
2. In the text box, enter the text you want to convert to speech.
3. Browse the voice options on the left side. You can filter by language or type of voice.
4. Select a voice by clicking on it; it will be highlighted.
5. Click the "Play" button to listen to a preview of the voice.
6. If satisfied, click the "Convert" button to generate the audio.
7. Once processed, click the "Download" button to save your audio file.

• Experiment with the "Speed" and "Pitch" sliders below the text box to customise the voice output.
• Use the "Add pauses" feature to insert breaks in your speech, making it sound more natural.
• Consider breaking longer texts into smaller segments for more control over the voice output.

Use the "Preview" button frequently while adjusting settings. This saves time by allowing you to hear changes immediately without needing to convert and download multiple times.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid entering excessively long texts in one go. Kukarella may have limits on the length of text for conversion, leading to errors or incomplete audio. Instead, break your text into manageable sections.
