Getting started with Mockey

In this guide, you'll learn how to create professional-looking mockups using Mockey's extensive template library. You'll be able to generate unique mockups quickly and efficiently, perfect for all your design needs.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to mockey.ai.
2. Click on the Sign Up button in the top right corner.
3. Enter your email address and create a password, or sign up using Google for quicker access.
4. Confirm your email through the link sent to your inbox.
5. Log in to your new account.

Step 2: Your first mockup

1. Once logged in, you’ll land on the dashboard. Click on the Templates tab in the main menu.
2. Browse through the categories or use the search bar to find a specific type of mockup (e.g., "t-shirt" or "laptop").
3. Click on a template you like to open the editing interface.
4. Upload your design by clicking the Upload Image button. Adjust the image as needed using the provided tools.
5. Once satisfied, click on the Generate Mockup button. Wait a few seconds for Mockey to create your mockup.
6. Download your mockup by clicking the Download button on the results page.

Step 3: Get better results

• Experiment with different templates from various categories to see what works best for your designs.
• Use high-resolution images for better quality mockups. Aim for images with a minimum of 300 DPI.
• Adjust the positioning, scaling, and effects using the editing tools to make your mockups more appealing.

Pro tip

Use the Favourites feature by clicking the heart icon on templates you like. This allows you to quickly access your preferred templates without searching for them again.

Common mistake to avoid

Don't skip the image adjustment step after uploading your design. If your image isn't properly aligned or sized, your final mockup may look unprofessional. Always preview it before generating.
