Getting started with Moonbeam

With Moonbeam, you'll transform your writing process by efficiently generating long-form content, organising your ideas, and structuring your essays, articles, or blogs. After this guide, you'll be ready to create engaging content with ease.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to gomoonbeam.com.
2. Click on the Sign Up button in the top right corner.
3. Enter your email address and create a password, or sign up using Google or Facebook for quicker access.
4. Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link to activate your account.
5. Once logged in, you will see the dashboard where you can start a new project.

Step 2: Your first writing project

1. On the dashboard, click on the New Project button.
2. Choose a project type (e.g., essay, article, blog post) from the dropdown menu.
3. Enter your project title and a brief description of your topic.
4. Click Create to open the writing interface.
5. Use the Brainstorm button to generate ideas or keywords related to your topic.
6. Click on Outline to organise your thoughts into sections or headings.
7. Start writing in the main text area. Use the Suggestions feature for prompts or ideas as you write.

Step 3: Get better results

1. Use the Research tool to gather information and citations by clicking on the Research tab.
2. Experiment with different tones and styles by adjusting the settings in the Writing Style dropdown.
3. Regularly save your work by clicking the Save button at the top right.
4. Review and edit your content using the Edit feature, which highlights grammar and style suggestions.

Pro tip

Use the Templates feature to start with a pre-defined structure for common content types like blogs or essays. This saves time and helps maintain consistency in your writing.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid skipping the brainstorming and outlining stages. Jumping straight into writing without a plan can lead to disorganised content and writer's block. Always take the time to outline your main points first.
