How to Use Phot.AI

Getting started with Phot.AI

In this guide, you'll learn how to quickly edit photos and create visual content using Phot.AI's AI-powered tools. By the end, you'll be able to enhance your images with ease, even if you have no prior design experience.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to Phot.AI.
2. Click on the “Sign Up” button in the top right corner.
3. Enter your email address and create a password, or sign up using Google or Facebook for quicker access.
4. Confirm your email if prompted, and log in to your new account.

Step 2: Your first photo edit

1. Once logged in, click on “Upload” in the centre of the dashboard to select a photo from your device.
2. After the upload is complete, choose from the editing options on the left sidebar. For example, click on “Background Removal” to isolate your subject.
3. Use the brush tool to refine the selection if necessary, then click “Apply” to remove the background.
4. To add a new background, click on “Add Background” and choose from the available options or upload your own.
5. Finally, click “Download” in the top right corner to save your edited photo.

Step 3: Get better results

1. Experiment with the “Object Editing” tool to modify specific elements in your image. For instance, you can change colours or adjust brightness by selecting the object and using the sliders provided.
2. To achieve more creative effects, explore the “Filters” option in the left sidebar and apply different styles to see what works best.
3. Use the “Undo” button in the top left if you make a mistake, allowing you to try different edits without starting over.

Pro tip

Use keyboard shortcuts like “Ctrl + Z” (or “Cmd + Z” on Mac) for undoing changes quickly. This can save you time when experimenting with different edits.

Common mistake to avoid

Be careful not to upload images that exceed the size limit. If you encounter issues during upload, check the file size and format to ensure compatibility.
