Getting started with Pipedrive
In this guide, you'll learn how to set up Pipedrive and manage your sales pipeline effectively. You'll be able to create deals, move them through stages, and leverage AI features to enhance your sales process.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to Pipedrive's website.
- Click on the “Start free trial” button on the homepage.
- Fill in your email address and create a password, or sign up using Google.
- Follow the prompts to set up your account, including entering your company name and sales information.
Step 2: Your first deal
- Once logged in, navigate to the “Deals” tab on the left sidebar.
- Click on the “+ Add deal” button at the top right.
- Enter the deal name, value, and select a pipeline stage from the dropdown menu.
- Click “Save” to add the deal to your pipeline.
- To move the deal through stages, simply drag and drop it to the desired stage in the visual pipeline.
Step 3: Get better results
- Use the “Insights” tab to view sales reports and track performance.
- Set up deal reminders by clicking on the deal and selecting “Add reminder” to stay on top of your follow-ups.
- Explore the “AI predictions” feature by clicking on “Settings” (gear icon) > “AI” to enable insights on deal success likelihood.
- Customise your pipeline stages by going to “Settings” > “Pipelines” and adjusting them to fit your sales process.
