Getting started with Pixa

In this guide, you'll learn how to quickly remove backgrounds from images using Pixa, a free AI photo editor. You'll be able to process multiple images efficiently, making it ideal for e-commerce and social media.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to Pixa's website.
  2. Click on the "Sign Up" button located at the top right corner.
  3. Enter your email and create a password, or sign up using a Google account for quicker access.
  4. Once signed up, log in to your account to access the main dashboard.

Step 2: Your first background removal

  1. From the dashboard, click on the "Upload" button to select the image you want to edit.
  2. After the image uploads, click on the "Remove Background" button.
  3. Wait a few seconds while Pixa processes your image. You’ll see a preview of the result with the background removed.
  4. If satisfied, click on the "Download" button to save your image. If not, you can click "Undo" to revert and try again.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. For batch processing, click on the "Batch Upload" button to select multiple images at once.
  2. Ensure you check the box for "High-Quality Output" in the settings before processing.
  3. You can also adjust the "Edge Smoothing" slider to fine-tune the edges of your images if they appear too sharp or jagged.

Pro tip

Use the "Preview" feature after background removal to compare the original image with the edited one. This allows you to quickly identify any areas that might need adjustments before downloading.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid uploading images that are too small or low resolution, as this can lead to poor background removal results. Always use high-quality images for the best output.
