Getting started with Podium
With Podium, you'll quickly transform your podcast episodes into engaging show notes, SEO keywords, and social media content. This guide will help you set up your account and start generating content in minutes.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to hello.podium.page.
- Click on the “Get Started for Free” button on the homepage.
- Enter your email address and create a password, then click “Sign Up”.
- Check your email for a confirmation link and verify your account.
- Log in to Podium with your new credentials.
Step 2: Your first transcription
- Once logged in, click on the “Upload Audio” button on the dashboard.
- Select the audio file of your podcast episode (make sure it's in an accepted format like MP3 or WAV).
- Wait for the transcription process to complete; this may take a few moments depending on the file size.
- Once done, click on the “View Transcription” button to access the text.
- Review the transcription for accuracy, making any necessary edits directly in the text box.
Step 3: Get better results
- After reviewing your transcription, click on the “Generate Show Notes” button.
- Podium will produce a summary, key points, and suggested titles. Review the suggestions and select any you wish to use.
- For SEO keywords, click on the “SEO Keywords” tab to generate relevant keywords based on your transcription.
- To create social media snippets, click on the “Social Media Content” button and choose the preferred formats for platforms like Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook.
