Quillbot Flow is an AI-powered workspace that streamlines your research and writing process. By following this guide, you'll be able to create coherent content, manage citations, and take notes—all in one place.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to Quillbot Flow.
  2. Click on the "Get Started" button.
  3. Sign up using your email address or connect via Google or Microsoft.
  4. Once signed up, you’ll be directed to your dashboard where you can start a new project.

Step 2: Your first writing project

  1. On your dashboard, click on "New Project."
  2. Choose a template that suits your needs, such as "Research Paper" or "Essay."
  3. Fill in the title and any initial notes in the provided fields.
  4. Use the AI text generation feature by clicking on "Generate Text." Type a prompt related to your topic and click "Generate."
  5. Review the generated content and make any adjustments as needed. You can edit directly in the text box.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Use the "Research" tab to find relevant sources. Enter keywords related to your topic and browse through the suggestions.
  2. Take notes using the "Notes" feature. Click on "Add Note" to keep your thoughts organised.
  3. When citing sources, use the "Citations" feature. Click on "Add Citation," input the necessary details, and Quillbot Flow will format it for you.

Pro tip

Use the "Collaborate" feature to share your project with others. Click on "Share" in the top right corner, and enter their email addresses to invite them. This saves time when gathering feedback.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid rushing through the AI text generation. Make sure to provide clear and specific prompts to get the best results. Vague prompts can lead to irrelevant or incoherent text.
