Getting started with RankIQ

After reading this guide, you’ll be able to sign up for RankIQ, find low-competition keywords, and start optimising your blog content effectively.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to RankIQ’s website.
2. Click on the “Get Started” button located at the top right corner.
3. Choose your plan: either the basic $29/month plan (8 reports) or the standard $49/month plan (16 reports). Click “Select Plan” for your choice.
4. Fill in your details on the signup form, and then click “Create Account”.
5. Confirm your email address via the link sent to your inbox.

Step 2: Your first keyword search

1. Once logged in, navigate to the “Keyword Research” tab in the main menu.
2. Enter a topic related to your blog niche in the search bar.
3. Click the “Search” button.
4. Browse through the list of keywords presented. Look for those with low competition and high traffic potential.
5. Click on a keyword to view its details, including search volume, competition level, and suggested word count.
6. Click “Add to My Keywords” to save the keyword for your content planning.

Step 3: Get better results

1. Use the filters available on the left side of the Keyword Research page to narrow down keywords by competition, search volume, or word count.
2. Review the “Content Brief” feature for each keyword, which provides you with SEO-optimised suggestions for your blog post.
3. Regularly check the “My Keywords” section to monitor your saved keywords and update your content strategy accordingly.
