Getting started with Rask AI

In this guide, you'll learn how to use Rask AI to localise your videos into over 130 languages, adapting voiceovers to match the original speakers. By the end, you'll be able to translate and voice adapt your video content efficiently.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to rask.ai.
  2. Click on the “Get Started” button on the homepage.
  3. Fill in your details to create an account. If available, choose the free trial option to explore features.
  4. Verify your email if prompted, and log in to your new account.

Step 2: Your first video localisation

  1. Once logged in, click on the “New Project” button.
  2. Upload your video file by clicking the “Upload Video” option.
  3. Select the original language of your video from the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose the target language(s) you want to translate into.
  5. If your video has multiple speakers, click on “Add Speaker” to set up voice adaptations for each one.
  6. After configuring your settings, click “Start Localisation” to begin the process. Wait for Rask AI to process your video.
  7. Once complete, you can review the translations and voice adaptations. Click “Download” to get your final video.

Step 3: Get better results

  • Ensure you upload high-quality audio to improve voice adaptation accuracy.
  • Use the “Speaker Profiles” feature to adjust voice characteristics like tone and pitch for each speaker, ensuring they sound authentic in the target language.
  • Review the generated subtitles and adjust as needed by clicking on the “Edit” button next to each section.

Pro tip

Use the “Batch Processing” feature to upload multiple videos at once. This saves you time, especially if you have several projects to complete.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid uploading videos with poor audio quality. Low-quality sound can lead to inaccurate translations and voice adaptations, resulting in a less professional final product. Always check your audio before uploading.
