Getting started with Relume

In this guide, you'll learn how to quickly create sitemaps and wireframes using Relume's AI-driven website builder. By the end, you'll be able to generate a basic site structure in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to Relume's website.
  2. Click on the "Get Started for Free" button located on the homepage.
  3. Fill in your email address and create a password, or sign up using Google or another social account.
  4. Confirm your email address by clicking the link in the confirmation email sent to you.
  5. Log in to your new account.

Step 2: Your first sitemap

  1. Once logged in, you'll be taken to the dashboard. Click on the "New Project" button.
  2. Enter a name for your project and select "Create Sitemap".
  3. Use the "Add Page" button to add pages to your sitemap. You can drag and drop to rearrange them.
  4. To generate a wireframe, click on the "Generate Wireframe" button at the top right. The AI will create a basic wireframe based on your sitemap.
  5. Review the wireframe and make any adjustments by clicking on elements to edit or delete them.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Use high-quality images or sketches when uploading to the AI, as it analyses these to improve your wireframe design.
  2. Experiment with the "Layout" and "Style" options on the sidebar to customise the look of your wireframe.
  3. Save your work frequently by clicking the "Save" button at the top left.
  4. Don't forget to use the "Preview" button to see how your wireframe looks before finalising it.

Pro tip

Use the "Duplicate Page" feature in the sitemap section to quickly create similar pages, saving time on repetitive tasks.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid skipping the initial setup of your sitemap. A well-structured sitemap will lead to better wireframe designs, so take the time to plan your site structure before jumping into wireframing.
