Getting started with Remini

In this guide, you'll learn how to restore and enhance your old photos using Remini's AI technology. By the end, you'll be able to transform damaged images into clearer, high-quality versions.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to Remini's website.
  2. Click the "Get Started" button on the homepage.
  3. Sign up for a free account by entering your email and creating a password, or use an existing Google or Facebook account to log in.
  4. Once logged in, you may be prompted to verify your email. Check your inbox and follow the verification link.

Step 2: Your first photo restoration

  1. After logging in, click on the "Upload" button, usually located at the top of the page.
  2. Select the photo you want to enhance from your device. Ensure it's a clear image for the best results.
  3. Once uploaded, click on the "Enhance" button that appears next to your photo.
  4. Wait for the AI to process the image. This may take a few moments depending on the photo’s size.
  5. After processing, you’ll see a comparison of the original and enhanced images. Click "Download" to save the improved photo to your device.

Step 3: Get better results

  • Use high-quality scans of your photos for better restoration results. Avoid low-resolution images as they may not enhance well.
  • Experiment with the "Adjust" feature, if available, to fine-tune aspects like brightness and contrast after enhancement.
  • For portraits, focus on images with clear faces, as Remini excels at enhancing facial features and skin textures.

Pro tip

Try batch uploading multiple photos at once if you're working on a collection. This saves time as you can enhance several images simultaneously.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid using overly compressed or low-resolution images, as these will yield poor results. Always opt for the highest quality version of your photo to start with.
