Getting started with Salesforce Einstein
After reading this guide, you will be set up to use Salesforce Einstein for predictive lead scoring and opportunity insights, enhancing your sales processes and customer engagement.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to the Salesforce website.
- Click on the Get Started button or Contact Sales to inquire about the Enterprise edition that includes Einstein.
- If you already have a Salesforce account, log in. If not, follow the prompts to create a new account.
- Once logged in, navigate to Setup by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner.
- In the Quick Find box, type Einstein and select Einstein Setup to enable features.
Step 2: Your first predictive lead scoring
- From the Salesforce homepage, go to the Sales tab.
- Click on Leads in the left sidebar.
- Select a lead from the list.
- Look for the Einstein Lead Scoring section on the lead detail page. If it's not visible, click on Edit Page to add it.
- Review the predictive score displayed. It indicates the likelihood of conversion based on historical data.
- Use this score to prioritise your follow-up actions.
Step 3: Get better results
- Regularly input detailed data into your leads to improve Einstein's predictions. Include notes, call logs, and email interactions.
- Use the Einstein Opportunity Insights feature by navigating to the Opportunities tab. Here, you’ll find insights that suggest the best actions to take with each opportunity.
- Set up alerts for significant changes in lead scores or opportunities by going to Setup, selecting Einstein Activity Capture, and enabling notifications.
