Getting started with Sapling
After reading this guide, you will be able to use Sapling to enhance your business communications by checking grammar, improving clarity, and generating rephrasing suggestions effortlessly.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to sapling.ai.
- Click on the "Get Started" button on the homepage.
- Choose to sign up using your email or a Google account.
- Fill in the necessary details and confirm your email address if prompted.
- Once logged in, you’ll be taken to your dashboard where you can access various features.
Step 2: Your first writing task
- In the dashboard, locate the "Compose" tab on the left-hand menu.
- Click on it to open the text editor.
- Type or paste your text into the editor. For example, draft an email to a client.
- As you type, Sapling will underline grammatical errors and suggest improvements.
- Hover over any underlined text to see suggestions and click on them to apply changes instantly.
Step 3: Get better results
- Explore the "Templates" section by clicking on the "Templates" tab. Here, you can find pre-written email formats for various scenarios.
- Use the "Rephrase" button that appears above your text when you select a sentence. This will give you alternative phrasing options to enhance clarity.
- Familiarise yourself with the "Snippets" feature by clicking on "Snippets" in the left menu. This allows you to create reusable responses for common queries, saving you time on repetitive tasks.
