Getting started with Soundful

In this guide, you'll learn how to create customisable, royalty-free music tracks using Soundful. By the end, you'll be able to generate a track that suits your project’s needs without any prior music knowledge.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to Soundful.
  2. Click on the “Sign Up” button in the top right corner.
  3. Choose to sign up using your email or a social media account.
  4. After signing up, verify your email if prompted.
  5. Log in to your new account.

Step 2: Your first track

  1. Once logged in, click on “Create a Track” from the dashboard.
  2. Select a musical style from the library (e.g., EDM, lo-fi, meditation).
  3. Adjust the settings:
- Change the Key using the dropdown menu. - Set the BPM (beats per minute) by sliding the bar or typing in a number. - Choose specific Instruments by clicking on the instrument icons.
  1. Click “Generate Track” to create your music piece.
  2. After the track is generated, listen to it by clicking the play button.
  3. If satisfied, click “Download” to get the track in WAV format or choose to download MIDI files or stems.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Experiment with different musical styles and settings to find the best fit for your project.
  2. Use the “Preview” button to listen to variations before downloading.
  3. Adjust the Tempo slider to change the speed of your track for a better vibe.
  4. Save your favourite configurations by clicking the “Save Track” button for easy access later.

Pro tip

Use the “Copy Track” feature after generating your first track. This allows you to modify the copied version without losing the original, making it easier to experiment with different styles and settings.

Common mistake to avoid

Many users forget to adjust the Key or BPM before generating a track. This can lead to a sound that doesn’t fit their project. Always tweak these settings to ensure the music aligns with your vision.
