Getting started with Squibler
In this guide, you’ll learn how to quickly set up Squibler and start creating your first story or screenplay using its AI writing tools. By the end, you’ll be ready to harness the power of the Smart Writer AI assistant to generate drafts and outlines.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to Squibler's website.
- Click on the “Get Started for Free” button on the homepage.
- Fill in your email address and create a password, or sign up using Google.
- Confirm your email address through the link sent to your inbox.
- Once logged in, you’ll be taken to your dashboard where you can start a new project.
Step 2: Your first story
- On the dashboard, click the “New Project” button.
- Choose a template that suits your needs (e.g., Novel, Screenplay, Short Story).
- Enter your project title and any initial ideas you have, then click “Create”.
- To use the Smart Writer AI, click the “AI Assistant” button on the left sidebar.
- Select “Generate Outline” or “Draft a Scene” based on what you want to create.
- Input any prompts or specific instructions for your story and click “Generate”.
- Review the generated content and edit as needed.
Step 3: Get better results
- Experiment with different prompts when using the AI assistant to see what yields the best results.
- Use the “Goals” tab to set word count or chapter completion targets for better focus.
- Take advantage of the “Collaboration” feature to invite feedback from peers by clicking on “Share” in your project view.
- Regularly save your work by clicking the “Save” button in the top right corner.
