Getting started with Steve.AI

In this guide, you'll learn how to create animated and live-action videos from text scripts using Steve.AI. By the end, you'll be able to produce your first video quickly and efficiently.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Visit Steve.AI.
2. Click on the "Get Started Free" button on the homepage.
3. Enter your email address and set a password, or sign up using Google or Facebook.
4. Verify your email if prompted, then log in to your new account.

Step 2: Your first video

1. Once logged in, click on the “Create Video” button on the dashboard.
2. Choose between "Animated Video" or "Live Action Video" based on your preference.
3. In the text box, enter your script (aim for around 100-200 words for best results).
4. Click “Generate” to let Steve.AI process your script.
5. Review the suggested scenes and visuals. You can click on each scene to edit text, change images, or add new elements.
6. Once satisfied, click the “Preview” button to see a draft of your video.
7. Click “Export” to finalise your video. Choose the resolution and format, then hit “Download”.

Step 3: Get better results

• Use concise scripts with clear structure. Break your content into sections with headings for better scene generation.
• Experiment with different styles and themes by clicking on the “Styles” tab before generating your video.
• Adjust the pacing of your video by modifying the duration of each scene in the timeline editor after previewing.

Pro tip

To save time, use the “Templates” feature to start from pre-made video layouts. This can help you quickly create videos without starting from scratch.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid overly long scripts. Keep your text concise and focused; lengthy scripts may result in less coherent scenes and visuals. Aim for clarity to ensure the AI can effectively interpret your content.
