Getting started with STORM
In this guide, you will learn how to use STORM to generate Wikipedia-style articles with citations quickly. By the end, you'll be able to create structured articles backed by credible sources in just a few clicks.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to STORM's website.
- Click on the "Get Started" button on the homepage.
- Since STORM is completely free, you can start using it without creating an account. Simply click on "Start Generating Articles".
Step 2: Your first article
- Once you're on the main interface, you’ll see a text box labelled “Enter your topic here”.
- Type in a topic you want to research (e.g., "Climate Change") and click the "Generate" button.
- Wait a few seconds while STORM processes your request. It will compile information from various sources.
- Once complete, you will see a structured article with headings, paragraphs, and citations at the bottom. You can scroll through the article to review the content.
Step 3: Get better results
- To refine your results, try using specific keywords or phrases related to your topic. For example, instead of just "Climate Change," use "Effects of Climate Change on Polar Bears".
- Check the citation list at the bottom of the generated article to verify sources. If you need more details, click on the links provided to read the original articles.
- You can regenerate the article by clicking the "Generate" button again with adjusted keywords for different perspectives or additional information.
