Getting started with Taplio

In this guide, you’ll learn how to set up Taplio to enhance your LinkedIn presence. You’ll be able to generate engaging posts, find leads, and analyse performance metrics in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Visit taplio.com.
  2. Click on the "Get Started" button on the homepage.
  3. Choose a plan: Starter ($49/mo), Standard ($79/mo), or Pro ($149/mo). You can start with the Starter plan for basic features.
  4. Complete the sign-up form by entering your email and password, then click "Sign Up".
  5. Verify your email by clicking on the link sent to your inbox.
  6. Log in to your account and connect your LinkedIn profile by clicking on "Connect LinkedIn".

Step 2: Your first post

  1. On the dashboard, click on "Create Post".
  2. In the post creation window, you’ll see options for “Trending Topics”. Click on this to get suggestions based on your industry.
  3. Select a topic that interests you. The AI will generate a draft post. You can edit this text to better match your voice.
  4. Once satisfied, click “Schedule Post” to publish it at a later time or “Post Now” to share it immediately.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Use the "Analytics" tab to track the performance of your posts. Here you can see likes, comments, and shares.
  2. Experiment with different posting times by checking the "Best Times to Post" feature under the Analytics section.
  3. Regularly check the "Lead Finder" tool to identify potential connections and clients relevant to your industry.

Pro tip

Set up a weekly schedule to generate and post content. Use the "Schedule Post" feature to plan your posts in advance, saving you time during your busy week.

Common mistake to avoid

Many users forget to edit the AI-generated content, leading to generic posts. Always personalise your drafts to ensure they reflect your unique voice and resonate with your audience.
