Getting started with Thesify

After reading this guide, you’ll be able to create an account on Thesify, upload your academic documents, and receive real-time feedback to improve your writing.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to Thesify's website.
  2. Click on the “Sign Up” button located at the top right corner of the homepage.
  3. Fill in the required fields: your name, email address, and create a password.
  4. Click “Create Account”.
  5. Confirm your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox.

Step 2: Your first document

  1. Log in to your Thesify account.
  2. Click on the “Upload Document” button on your dashboard.
  3. Select the document you wish to analyse (up to 100,000 words).
  4. Once uploaded, Thesify will automatically start processing your document.
  5. After processing, navigate to the “Feedback” tab to view suggestions for improvement.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Use the “Settings” option to adjust the feedback level (e.g., minimal, standard, detailed).
  2. Experiment with the “Focus Areas” feature by selecting specific aspects of your writing to improve, such as clarity, coherence, or grammar.
  3. Regularly revisit your document to track changes and implement suggestions for improved versions.

Pro tip

Take advantage of the “Version History” feature to compare your document’s progress over time. This allows you to see what changes have been made and helps you refine your writing further.

Common mistake to avoid

Many users forget to confirm their email address after signing up, which prevents them from accessing their account. Make sure to check your inbox and confirm your email to avoid delays.
