Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to Topaz Video AI.
  2. Click on the "Download" button on the homepage.
  3. Select your operating system (Windows or Mac) and download the installer.
  4. Run the installer and follow the prompts to complete the setup.
  5. Open Topaz Video AI and create an account or log in if you already have one.

Step 2: Your first video enhancement

  1. Click on the "Browse" button in the top left corner to import your video file.
  2. Once your video is loaded, select a processing model from the right panel. For example, choose "Upscale" for improving resolution.
  3. Adjust the settings as needed, such as selecting the output resolution and frame rate.
  4. Click the "Preview" button to see a quick sample of the enhancement.
  5. If satisfied, click the "Start Processing" button at the bottom to apply the changes to the entire video.

Step 3: Get better results

  • Experiment with different AI models like "Stabilise" or "DeNoise" based on your video needs.
  • Use the "Batch Processing" feature by clicking on "Add" to import multiple videos at once, saving you time.
  • Adjust the "Output Settings" to ensure the final video meets your needs, such as format and quality.

Pro tip

Use the "Preview" feature before processing the whole video. This allows you to fine-tune your settings without wasting time on an entire render.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid skipping the preview step. Many beginners process their videos without checking the results first, leading to unsatisfactory outcomes. Always preview your settings to ensure they meet your expectations.
