Getting started with Transkriptor
In this guide, you'll learn how to sign up for Transkriptor and start transcribing audio files into text. You'll also discover how to translate your transcripts into over 100 languages quickly and efficiently.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to Transkriptor's website.
- Click on the Get Started button on the homepage.
- Select your preferred subscription plan; there is a free trial option available.
- Fill in your email address and create a password, or sign up using Google or Facebook.
- Confirm your email address through the link sent to your inbox.
Step 2: Your first transcription
- After logging in, click on the Upload Audio button on your dashboard.
- Choose the audio file you want to transcribe (supported formats include MP3, WAV, etc.).
- Once uploaded, select the language of the audio from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Transcribe button. The transcription process will begin.
- After a few minutes, your transcript will appear on the screen. You can edit any inaccuracies directly in the text editor.
Step 3: Get better results
- Use high-quality audio files for improved accuracy. Background noise can affect transcription quality.
- If your audio has multiple speakers, indicate this by using the Speaker Labels feature, which helps the AI distinguish between different voices.
- Once your transcription is complete, you can translate it by clicking the Translate button and selecting your desired language from the list.
