Getting started with Uizard

In this guide, you'll learn how to create UI designs quickly using Uizard's Autodesigner feature. By the end, you’ll be able to generate screens from text prompts effortlessly.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to uizard.io.
  2. Click on the "Get started for free" button on the homepage.
  3. Sign up using your email address or Google account.
  4. Confirm your email if prompted, then log in to your new account.

Step 2: Your first design

  1. Once logged in, click on the "Create a new project" button.
  2. Select "Autodesigner" from the options presented.
  3. In the text box that appears, type a description of the screen you want to create, e.g., "a login screen with email and password fields."
  4. Click the "Generate" button.
  5. Review the generated screen. You can modify elements by clicking on them, or generate new screens by typing new prompts.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Use specific keywords in your prompts for more tailored designs, such as "a mobile shopping app with a product listing."
  2. Explore the "Components" panel on the left to add buttons, images, and other UI elements to your design.
  3. Use the "Preview" button at the top right to see how your design looks in real-time.

Pro tip

Try to include the style or theme you want in your prompts, like "a modern, minimalistic dashboard." This helps Uizard generate designs that better match your vision.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid vague prompts like "design a screen." Instead, be specific about the type of screen and its elements to get the best results.
