Getting started with Wavel AI

In this guide, you’ll learn how to use Wavel AI for video dubbing, voice cloning, and subtitle generation. By the end, you'll be able to create high-quality multimedia content efficiently.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Visit wavel.ai.
2. Click on the "Get Started" button in the top right corner.
3. Enter your email and create a password, or sign up using a Google account.
4. Confirm your email address if prompted.
5. Once logged in, you'll be directed to the dashboard where you can access all features.

Step 2: Your first video dubbing

1. On the dashboard, click on "Video Dubbing" from the menu.
2. Upload your video file by clicking the "Upload Video" button.
3. Select the original language of the video and the target language for dubbing.
4. Click on "Generate Dubbing" to start the process. This may take a few moments.
5. Once complete, you can preview the dubbed video and download it by clicking the "Download" button.

Step 3: Get better results

• For more accurate dubbing, ensure your video has clear audio. Background noise can affect the quality.
• Use the "Voice Cloning" feature to create a custom voice that matches the original speaker's tone. Access it from the "Voice Cloning" tab on the dashboard.
• For subtitles, go to the "Subtitle Generation" section and upload the same video. The tool will automatically generate subtitles in your chosen language.

Pro tip

Use the “Preview” function after generating dubbing or subtitles to quickly spot any errors before downloading. This saves time by allowing you to make adjustments on the fly.

Common mistake to avoid

Don’t skip the language selection step when dubbing. Selecting the wrong original language can lead to poor audio synchronisation and incorrect translations. Always double-check your selections before generating content.
