Getting started with WellSaid Labs

In this guide, you will learn how to create high-quality audio using WellSaid Labs' AI voice generator. You'll be able to sign up, generate your first audio clip, and customise it to fit your needs.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to WellSaid Labs.
  2. Click on the “Get Started” button located on the homepage.
  3. Enter your email address and create a password, then click “Sign Up”.
  4. Check your email for a verification link and confirm your account.
  5. Once verified, log in to your account. You’ll be directed to the dashboard.
  6. Take note that you can start with a 7-day free trial before choosing a paid plan.

Step 2: Your first audio generation

  1. From the dashboard, click on the “Create New Project” button.
  2. Name your project and select “Create”.
  3. In the text box, enter the script you want to convert to speech.
  4. Choose a voice from the dropdown menu. You can filter by accent and gender.
  5. Adjust pronunciation, tone, and speed using the sliders provided.
  6. Once satisfied, click the “Generate” button to create your audio clip.
  7. After processing, click the “Download” button to save your audio file.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Experiment with different voices to find the one that best fits your project.
  2. Use the pronunciation controls to ensure specific words are pronounced correctly by clicking on the “Pronunciation” tab and adding phonetic spellings.
  3. Save frequently used scripts as templates by clicking “Save as Template” for quicker access in future projects.
  4. Collaborate with your team by using the “Share” feature to invite others to view or edit your project.

Pro tip

Make use of the “Preview” feature before generating the final audio. This allows you to hear how your adjustments affect the output without having to wait for the full generation process.
