Getting started with Writefull
In this guide, you'll learn how to set up Writefull and use its AI-powered proofreading and writing tools. By the end, you'll be able to enhance your academic writing with automated feedback and corrections.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to the Writefull website.
- Click on the "Get started" button in the top right corner.
- Choose to sign up using your email, Google, or ORCID account. If you select email, fill in the required fields and click "Sign up."
- Confirm your email address by checking your inbox and clicking the verification link.
- Once verified, log in to your account.
Step 2: Your first proofreading task
- In the Writefull dashboard, locate the "Write" section from the menu on the left.
- Click on "Proofreading."
- Copy and paste your text into the provided text box.
- Click the "Check" button to initiate the proofreading process.
- Review the suggestions that appear on the right side. You can accept or dismiss each suggestion by clicking the corresponding buttons.
Step 3: Get better results
- For tailored language feedback, navigate to "Language" in the left menu.
- Enter your text and click on "Check" to receive feedback on word choice and phrasing.
- Use the "Paraphrase" feature to see alternative ways to express your ideas. This can enhance clarity and impact.
- Regularly check the "History" section to review past documents and suggestions, which can help you track your progress.
