How to Use ZeroEdit

A practical guide to get you up and running with ZeroEdit. Written by Delv Editorial, Delv Team.

Getting started with ZeroEdit

In this guide, you will learn how to use ZeroEdit to edit photos by simply typing your requests in plain English. You’ll be able to remove backgrounds, erase objects, and restyle images quickly and easily.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to ZeroEdit.
  2. Click on the "Sign Up" button located in the top right corner.
  3. Fill in your details or sign up using Google or Facebook.
  4. Once signed up, log in to your account. You will start on the dashboard where you can see your editing options.

Step 2: Your first edit

  1. Click on the "Upload Image" button in the centre of the dashboard.
  2. Choose an image from your device that you want to edit.
  3. After the image uploads, you’ll see a text box that says "What do you want to do with this image?"
  4. Type your instruction, for example, "remove the background" or "erase the coffee cup from the table."
  5. Click the "Edit" button next to the text box. The AI will process your request.
  6. Once the editing is complete, you will see a preview of your edited image. If you’re satisfied, click the "Download" button to save it to your device.

Step 3: Get better results

  • For more precise edits, be specific in your requests. Instead of saying "change this," specify what you want to change and how.
  • Use the "Undo" button if the result isn’t what you expected, and try rephrasing your instruction.
  • Experiment with different phrasing to see how the AI responds to various commands.

Pro tip

If you want to edit multiple images, try to batch your requests. Upload several images at once and give general instructions for each to save time.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid being vague in your instructions. Instead of saying "fix this," provide clear, specific actions like "remove the lamp from the corner." This will help the AI understand your needs better and deliver more accurate results.
