Getting started with Zubtitle

With Zubtitle, you'll quickly auto-generate and style captions for your social media videos, improving accessibility and engagement without the hassle of manual transcription. Follow these steps to start captioning your videos efficiently.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to Zubtitle's website.
  2. Click on the "Get Started" button on the homepage.
  3. Enter your email address and create a password to sign up for a free trial, if available, or choose a subscription plan that suits your needs.
  4. Confirm your email address if prompted, then log in to your account.

Step 2: Your first captioned video

  1. Once logged in, click on the "Create New Video" button on your dashboard.
  2. Upload your video by clicking the "Upload Video" button. Select the video file from your device.
  3. After the video uploads, Zubtitle will automatically generate captions. This may take a few moments depending on the video's length.
  4. Review the generated captions in the editor. You can edit any inaccuracies by clicking on the text directly.
  5. Adjust the styling of your captions using the options on the right panel. You can change font size, colour, and position to fit your branding.
  6. When satisfied, click the "Export" button to download your captioned video or share it directly to social media.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. For improved accuracy, ensure your audio is clear and free of background noise before uploading.
  2. Use the "Settings" gear icon to select the correct language for your captions, as this can enhance transcription quality.
  3. Experiment with different styling options to see what resonates best with your audience. Preview your changes in real-time.

Use the "Templates" feature within the styling options to save your preferred caption styles. This way, you can quickly apply consistent branding across all your videos.

Common mistake to avoid
