Getting started with Akiflow

In this guide, you'll learn how to set up Akiflow and consolidate your tasks from various applications into one organised planner. By the end, you'll be ready to manage your to-do list effectively.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to akiflow.com.
  2. Click on the "Get Started for Free" button on the homepage.
  3. Enter your email address and create a password, or sign up using Google or Microsoft.
  4. Once signed up, you'll receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to verify your account.
  5. Log in to your Akiflow account.

Step 2: Your first task

  1. After logging in, you'll land on your dashboard. Click on the "Add Task" button located at the top right.
  2. Enter the task name in the text box. You can also set a due date and priority level from the dropdown menus.
  3. To integrate tasks from other tools, click on the "Integrations" tab in the left sidebar.
  4. Select the applications you want to connect (e.g., Gmail, Notion, Todoist). Follow the prompts to authorise Akiflow to access these apps.
  5. Once connected, tasks from these applications will automatically appear in your Akiflow inbox.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Use the "Filters" option in the left sidebar to sort tasks by due date, priority, or project.
  2. To group tasks, create "Projects" by clicking on the "Projects" tab and then the "New Project" button.
  3. Drag and drop tasks into the relevant projects for better organisation.
  4. Set recurring tasks by clicking on the task, selecting "Edit," and choosing a recurrence option.

Pro tip

Take advantage of keyboard shortcuts to speed up your workflow. For example, press "N" to quickly add a new task without using your mouse.

Common mistake to avoid

Many users forget to authorise integrations with other tools, which means tasks won’t sync properly. Ensure you complete the integration steps for all apps you want to pull tasks from.
